© 2010 Allon and Christie - All rights reserved Allon and Christie first met on a cold February in 2006 whilst waiting in line for the Canadian Idol auditions. Allon was practising his audition song, “Little Star” when a pretty young woman saying, “Hi there. You have a nice voice. I hope you make it”. “Thank you”, replied Allon as he was walking towards the audition room. A short while later Allon returned from the audition holding a ticket for the next round. “Congratulations” said the young lady. “I hope to see you on TV”. “Thanks” replied Allon, cheerily waving as he went off into the sunset. The weeks went by and then the months. This brief conversation was long forgotten by Allon and Christie. Allon was checking his “Plenty of Fish” account (a dating web site) when he noticed that he had received an email from someone. Photo courtesy of CTV Roll over to enlarge. “Hey there. I just wanted to tell you that you have a beautiful smile” read the message. “Thanks” Allon replied. Allon and Christie continued exchanging emails for a few more days when Christie, after looking at a few more of Allon’s photos asked, “Were you on Canadian Idol? I think I met you. Do you remember talking to a lady whilst waiting in the line-up”? “Oh my god, I do”, replied Allon. Allon and Christie continued exchanging emails and graduated to making telephone calls.  They eventually agreed to meet for coffee and ending up sitting chatting to one another for 9 hours!  And the rest, dear reader, is history.
